The dynamic nature of this situation means that things are always changing. We know that every decision we make during this time impacts our community as a whole. We want to assure you that now and always, the health and safety of our team members, our customers and the communities where we live and work is top priority for us.
Here is how we are responding:
Rigorous Cleaning & Robust Hygiene
We want you to feel at ease during your spring opening and/or installation – so we have introduced more rigorous cleaning measures and have equipped our team members with additional robust hygiene measures, sanitization and safety products.
These cleaning and hygiene measures have been supplied in the office as well as every crew vehicle.
Our People
We are fortunate to be working in an industry that is primarily outdoors – naturally creating a work environment that supports self-distancing. As a small business, it is critical that our team is agile. We currently have a total of six staff members. Depending on the service being provided, there may be 1–5 team members present. We have a fleet of vehicles that allows us to travel in smaller groups, or individually.
Social Distancing
We have implemented a “no handshake” policy, as well as a “social distancing” policy
We have provided our employees with the guidance materials provided by the CDC to limit the exposure and spread of germs in general, not only with the COVID-19 virus but all airborne viruses such as the flu and common cold. These guidelines can be found here.
Strict 14-Day Policy
Should any of our employees feel ill, they have been asked to stay home and if they start to feel ill while at work, they will be asked to go home immediately and limit contact. A strict 14-day self-isolation policy has been put in place.
We are also asking all customers who are ill, exhibiting symptoms, or have been exposed to COVID-19 to contact us to reschedule their appointment.
Well-being of Others
As we continue to monitor events surrounding COVID-19, there may be instances where there are delays in providing our services in a timely manner that our customers have come to expect from us. However, we ask that we all show support in a decision that places the well-being of our customers, our employees and their families above all else.
